Semester 1 is officially in the books š and winter break is here! āļø Reminder that Steel City Academy will be on winter break from December 20 - January 5. š Students will have an asynchronous learning š¤ day on Monday, January 6 as well as Parent-Teacher Conferences š£ļø. Students will return to in-person learning on Tuesday, January 7. The main office will be open on December 20, 23, 26, and 27th from 9 AM - 3 PM. Our National Honor Society members chose to give back to the community during this holiday season by visiting the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana. šš„š Students packed over 420 bags for the food bank's mobile š market, which travels to a different Northwest Indiana community each week to provide healthy foods for those in need of food assistance. Students also delivered items collected from the Steel City Student Government's November food drive!
