Last week, they explored the element of line and crafted vibrant cityscapes inspired by pop artist James Rizzi using watercolors. 🏙️🎨 This week, they dove into abstract art, drawing inspiration from Black contemporary artist Reggie Laurent. That’s why improving daily attendance and reducing chronic absenteeism has been a major priority for us. 🔥 Thanks to the tireless efforts of our phenomenal attendance team—who provide regular communications, family wraparound services, and exciting student incentives—and the incredible school culture we’ve built, where kids love to come to school (from engaging classrooms and passionate extracurriculars to transformative field trips), we’ve seen tremendous growth in just one quarter: ✨ Perfect attendance skyrocketed from 23% in Q1 to an amazing 58% in Q2! ✨ Students meeting the attendance goal of 92% days present jumped from 69% to 81%!
