Steel City’s Student Council is being organized a little differently this year — and we love it! 💙 Instead of just a few students representing the entire student body, we now have at least one representative from each squad, grades 5–12, making sure every voice is heard. 🙌
Within this group, students voted within themselves to elect a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Co-Secretary, forming a structure that looks a lot like an actual government in action! 🗳️📜

Boxes full of gifts, hearts full of service! 🎁💖🎄 Our Steel City Academy National Honor Society scholars were all smiles this past weekend as they came together to pack shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child, a global project of Samaritan’s Purse that delivers gift-filled boxes to children in need across more than 100 countries. 🌍✨
Students carefully filled each box with toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and uplifting notes — small treasures that can make a big difference in a child’s life. 🧸✏️📚💛 These shoeboxes don’t just carry gifts; they carry hope, joy, and the reminder that every child is valued and remembered.
