š #1 in Gary in English ā 54.2% of our juniors reached college-ready proficiency, putting us within 1% of the state average!
š Thatās 28.5% higher than the next highest-performing Junior class in Gary.
š Our students are also outperforming their regional peers in in East Chicago, Hammond, Hobart, Merrillville, Portage, and more on this College Board Assessment.
For the past two years, weāve been laser-focused on literacy ā and now we have the results to show that when we put our mind and focus to something, we can and will drastically change student outcomes! šš„ A huge shout-out to our incredible teachers, parents staff, instructional leadership team, and Literacy Cadre team for making this all possible.

Our incredible staff dove deep into analyzing last yearās data and rolling out this yearās Big Rocks to ensure we are at our best for our students. We internalized standards, strengthened our mathematical conceptual understanding, engaged in powerful Squad sessions, and continued building the strong relationships that make our team unstoppable! š
We also had the joy of welcoming all of our parents and students for grade band orientations and registrations, setting the stage for a successful start to the year.
This is going to be the best year yetā¦ #BELIEVE š„š«
