This week kicked off our Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program šš„¬šhelping exposeš”our K-6 students to new fruits and vegetables and promote healthy eating š habits! Students enjoy a fruit or vegetable twice a week in the classroom while learning š§ nutritional information and fun facts about the fruit or vegetable. Our college and career readiness team has been hard at work, šŖš¼ planning college tours šØš¾āššand helping our students explore the #BoundlessOpportunities after high school! This past week students had the chance to explore both University of Illinois at Chicago ā¤ļø and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign š§”š, alma mater of our very own Mr. Moore and Mr. Stevens! They enjoyed campus tours, getting to see a typical dorm room, and the dining hall experience!
