On Friday, our 1st and 2nd-grade students got up close and personal with various fascinating animals at our very own Steel City petting zoo!š š„ From slithering snakes to fluffy baby chickens, curious ant eaters and chatty parrots, our students had a unique opportunity to learn about different species and their habitats. Anderson Foundation Scholarship from the Legacy Foundation for an additional $10,000 per year up to four years! ILEARN testing is just around the corner, and it's important to be prepared to test effectively and achieve success. The Indiana Learning Evaluation Assessment Readiness Network (ILEARN) is the statewide assessment for Indiana students in grades 3-8, and it measures their proficiency in English/language arts, math, science, and social studies. To help your child succeed on the upcoming ILEARN test, here are a few tips to keep in mind: Get plenty of rest, eat a nutritious breakfast, stay positive and focused, and arrive early and on time.
